Why the video format?

Twelve years ago I produced a video on my treatment of heel pain, AKA heel spur syndrome or plantar fasciitis. The хотелско обзавежданеvideo was distributed for about 7 years by another company with only moderate success due to no effort at marketing. Since that time I have formed Loco-Motion Productions, and upgraded the video with needed additions, increased marketing efforts, and re-mastered it into DVD format. The regimen described in my edfavideo is the only treatment that actually addresses the cause of plantar fasciitis, while the rest of the treatments (rest, immobilization, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, night splints, orthotics, cortisone shots in the heel, and surgery) address only the pain. My treatment is quite simple, but the logic behind it can be difficult. Most doctors and physical therapists will include similar exercises, but only as part of a list of many treatments. As a result many patients neglect this critical element. If the patient does not completely understand why they should do these exercises, they simply will not do them. While the publicized results in two separate sources shows a 98% success rate of this treatment, the medical community has not, and in my opinion, will not adopt this treatment because an effective presentation of this method is too difficult for an office setting. In addition this treatment requires that the patients do the work themselves, which is a challenge in today’s fast paced, quick fix society. This is the true value of the DVD format. In this case a “video is worth a thousand words.” I often tell my patients in the office “if you don’t watch the video, you will not do the exercises, and you will not get over your heel pain in the correct way”
